our story so far…
We started life in 1984 as a PYO fruit farm making our award winning ice creams & sorbets to use up surplus fruit.
Known locally as Wild Fig Farm we are still making those ice creams…
But things change, life takes different directions, PYO fruit wasn't for us anymore and we reluctantly closed the doors on our farm shop.
It was time to get back to doing what we really love - growing things
Argh!! But what? we knew a fair bit about fruit, had dabbled in vines and often thought about giving veg a go…we needed a very big cup of tea (or several) to think about it.. and that was that, decision made, tea it was.
